Music

The music library of The Italian Band of Cleveland is what makes this group particularly special.  The repertoire is as varied as is the musical heritage of Italy.

Concert and symphonic marches form the core of our music.  Many of these were composed by Italian-Americans who once lived in the Cleveland area.  Other works have been purchased directly from Italy.  Some charts were brought from Italy by Carmine Pannito himself.  Some military marches are performed, along with symphonic marches, mazurkas, polkas and other dance music.

Operatic tunes and orchestral works arranged specifically for our band by local composers are also included.  Finally, we have a selection of folk music and popular songs to round out the music library.  Preserving this music, and keeping it alive by performance is the essence of the band.
