Sorry for the last minute reminder-but don't forget we have a procession this Sunday at St. Rocco's on the West Side.
Procession starts at 1 pm, but please try to be there by 12:30 so you can get your music. You'll need your lyre, but not your stand. This will be the only performance at St. Rocco's this weekend. Looks like it will be a warm one, so don't forget water and sunscreen!

The Feast!
Hello everyone!
The Feast of the Assumption starts this Thursday at Holy Rosary in Little Italy! Our biggest gig of the season. Here is the schedule:
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, starting at 6 p.m.:
(you will need both lyres and music stands)
6-8 p.m.-we will be taking the Feast to the neighborhood and visiting the shut-ins.
8-8:30: short break
After the break we will be having a sit down concert (2 sets) in front of the school.
8:30-9:15: Set 1
9:15-9:45: short break
9:45-10:30: Set 2 .
Saturday Morning, August 15th:
(lyres only)
The procession will start after the 10 a.m. Mass in front of the church. Since the 15th is on a Saturday this year, assume that the crowds are going to be crazier than ever-try to arrive early so you don't have to park too far. You might want to consider taking the RTA to the new Little Italy stop! Try to arrive as early as possible-in addition to music, you will be given hats and procession scarves.
Sunday Night:

6 -8:30 (ish): Neighborhood walk
9:30 (ish): Candlelight procession
Times for Sunday night are approximate (except for the 6 p.m. start time!)
We will have a room in the school for set up/place to keep our cases, stands when we are not using them, etc. HOWEVER, only Italian band members will be allowed up in the room-no family members or friends. (Sorry!)
Sunday Morning, St. Rocco's San Nicola

Also, don't forget the San Nicola procession at St. Rocco's at 11 a.m. It is a small procession around the church, and we will need 10-12 people. Always fun and lunch is included!

Colinwood Celebration!
I hope everyone is enjoying there summer! Just a reminder that we have a gig this Sunday, August 9th, at Holy Redeemer in Colinwood. The procession is set to start at 11:30 am, but please try to be there by 11, so you can get your music! If you haven't already done so, please email Wayne to let him know you are coming.
Also don't forget the Feast is on the horizon! First night is Thursday the 13th at 6 pm (more details to follow).

Mount Carmel and BrookPark
Hello everyone!
Don't forget we play Mount Carmel and Brook Park this weekend!
Don't forget we play Mount Carmel and Brook Park this weekend!
Tonight we play at Mt. Carmel. Please arrive at 5 pm. We will play 1 set sitting at 5:30pm, take a short break and then go out on the street at 7:00pm. Please bring a stand for the first set and a lyre for the street. We should be done around 9:30pm
Sunday Morning - Brookpark parade. The parade will step off at 10, so please be there by 9:40. The parade will form up at the Bally's at 14571 Snow Rd (near intersection of Snow and Michael). The parade will end at the Brookpark Rec Center, 17400 Holland Rd. The parade route is about 1.7 miles. If some people will volunteer to leave their cars at the Rec Center, we will see that you are picked up and brought to Snow Rd. Then at the end of the parade, those cars at the Rec center can help return people to Snow Rd. Jesse can help coordinate this if you send him an email and let him know where you plan to park.
Sunday Afternoon - procession at Mt Carmel. The procession will step off at 1pm.

Updates to the 2015 Schedule
Hello everyone!
In case you haven't heard, we have 2 new jobs added to our 2015 schedule! The first is this Sunday, June 7th at St. Mark's in Cleveland. We will be performing in the procession for their Corpus Christi celebration.
The second is in Brook Park on July 12th. We will be performing for their Homedays Parade at 10am. After the parade we will head over to Mt. Carmel for their procession.
Both the schedule and direction pages have been updated-hope to see you there!

St. Charles this Saturday!
Hello Everyone!
Just a reminder that we are playing this Saturday (April 25th) at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Please try to be there by 4:30pm-downbeat at 4:45. We will be playing two sets, and they will give us dinner during the break between them. Standard Italian Band dress: white shirt/black pants. Don't forget your music stands!
I didn't get a chance to add the directions to St. Charles on the direction page:
5891 Ridge Road in Parma
-take I-480 to Ridge, then south on Ridge. The Ridge Rd exit on I-480 is between I-77 and I-71 interchanges with I-480.

Italian Band 2015 Schedule!
Hello everyone!
The 2015 schedule is here! Special thanks to everyone who showed up for Good Friday-even though we were rained out-we still appreciate the effort! :-)
A couple of notes: as of this writing, evening performances at St. Rocco's are currently being negotiated. Right now the procession is the only thing scheduled, but that may change later...
Mt. Carmel is the same set up as last year-Saturday night we will have a sit down concert starting at 5:30 pm. We will play one set, take a short break, and hit the streets around 7pm.
St. Charles is a new event on the schedule! This is a non-paying charity event-we will be playing 2 sets-and will be given a meal during the break. :-)
